Summer is my busiest time of year. Please keep in mind that I am a one-woman operation. I am happy to make your clothes for you, but July - September orders come in quickly and my normal 1-2 week lead time turns into about 3 weeks. Please be patient and understand that everything is handmade by a single person as the orders come in.

All Ojala garments are cut and sewn by my own hands. A lot of time, love and growth have gone into each of these designs, each garment you order has been designed and patterned by me until a perfect fit and flattering look are achieved.
My love of dance, yoga, performance art and travel all inspire and influence my designs as well as my outlook on life. I am passionate about living in such a manner that your life becomes an inspiration to those around you; and spreading as much joy and creativity as your spirit has to offer.
My goal for Ojala to be a go-to staple in your wardrobe. My vision is to offer garments that are perfect for everyday wearing and creative expression - great garments that become your favorites.
The majority of Ojala clothing is created from Bamboo fabrics, a sustainable material. As technology for material development progress, I feel that utilizing more sustainable materials are very important for the environment as well as humans.

5 out of 5 starsAbsolutely love these shorts! They’re so soft and comfy and fit perfectly. Adore the ruffles! Would definitely buy another pair :) The shorts got stuck in customs so it took a while to get them but that’s an issue with the Swedish postal service and not the seller.

1 out of 5 starsDidn't ship on time. Seller did not respond to my request for information until I put in a case with Etsy. Seller responded that it would ship in seven days. When that didn't happen I escalated the case with Etsy and got a full refund.

Hi Julie, I don’t check my Etsy page every day, nor every other day, nor do I sign up for notifications. I merely responded to your inquiry at the soonest that I saw this. I do my best to meet timelines, but I have a day job and Ojala is a pet project for me. Lastly, I never stated “7 days” as you claim. Your shorts were shipped yesterday, and I just saw this and the refund today. Hope you enjoy the free shorts.
